Refund Policy

The Government Outsourced Employees Association (GOEA) is committed to transparency and fairness in all financial interactions. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may or may not be issued for membership fees, event registrations, donations, or other payments made through our website or official platforms.


1. Membership Fees – Non-Refundable

  • All membership fees paid to GOEA are strictly non-refundable.

  • Once a membership is approved, processed, and activated, no refunds will be issued under any circumstance.

  • This applies to annual, lifetime, renewal, and special membership fees.


2. Event Registration Fees

Refunds for events (seminars, workshops, awareness programs, trainings, etc.) are handled as follows:

a) If GOEA Cancels the Event

  • A full refund will be issued to all registered participants.

  • Alternatively, participants may choose to transfer the fee to a future event.

b) If Participant Cancels Registration

  • Cancellation 7 or more days before the event: 50% refund

  • Cancellation within 7 days of event: No refund

  • No refund for absenteeism or last-minute cancellations.


3. Donations

  • All donations made to GOEA are voluntary and non-refundable.

  • Donors may request correction of receipt details (name, PAN, etc.) within 7 days, but no refund will be issued for donation amounts.


4. Duplicate or Wrong Transactions

In case of accidental duplicate payment or an incorrect amount:

  • You must report the issue within 48 hours of payment.

  • A refund will be processed after verifying the transaction in our system.

  • Refunds for such cases take 7–14 working days to reflect in your account.


5. Technical Payment Issues

If a payment fails but the amount is deducted from your bank account:

  • Refunds are handled by the respective payment gateway or bank.

  • GOEA will assist by verifying and confirming transaction status, but does not control bank refund timelines.

  • Such refunds may take 5–10 business days.


6. Processing Time for Approved Refunds

Once approved:

  • Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method used.

  • Processing time may take 7–14 working days, depending on banking partners.


7. No Refund Conditions

Refunds will not be issued in the following scenarios:

  • Member violates GOEA policies and membership is cancelled.

  • User provides incomplete or false information during registration.

  • Dissatisfaction with services where GOEA has already rendered support.

  • Failure to attend events after registration.

  • Delays or outcomes dependent on government departments or third parties.
